Short Sight

A short sighted eye is one in which the retina is too far away from the lens and the image is focused in front of the retina. It is possible to see objects near to the eye but further away from the eye they become blurred. It can easily be corrected with a lens to focus the image on the retina allowing clear vision at all distances.
